2025 Roadmap and Plans
Hey everyone,
It's time for the now traditionnal yearly roadmap! 2024 was an incredibly packed year. Between the 1.0.0 then 1.1.0 release of The Pacifier Project and the start of Dreamwalker’s development, we’ve hit majors millestones. I’m really happy with the strong foundation I’ve built for Dreamwalker, and it’s already paying off in terms of development speed and quality. Let’s dive into what 2025 has in store!
Q1: Wrapping Up and Setting the Stage
Second playtest Session for Dreamwalker
The first playtest session was very useful, providing key insights into the game’s layout and flow.It definitely played the role I want it to take : Find early flaws to adress theses as early as possible.
A second playtest session will be planned early in February, focusing on testing flow improvements, interiors layout and the game’s early progression.
Addressing Content Parity
Work on The Pacifier Project 1.2.0 will start after the second playtest session. This version will expand on the daycare, finish it, and, as (probably) the last content release, will feature a lot of small things I've put away up until now! It will be exclusively available for subscribers until Dreamwalker’s public demo is ready.
Q2: Transition and Focus
Finalizing The Pacifier Project
By early Q2, I aim to complete and release The Pacifier Project 1.2.0 for subscribers.
This will likely be the final major content update for the game, marking it as a truly finished project (apart from potential bug fixes).
Dreamwalker Playtest Sessions Resume
With The Pacifier Project wrapped up, I’ll transition fully to Dreamwalker’s development.
Monthly playtest sessions will continue depending of progress, focusing on refining core mechanics, introducing new features, and expanding content.By now, the goal will be to test out all the continence, diapers and clothes systems!
Q3: Building Dreamwalker
Polishing Core Features
Major focus on ensuring Dreamwalker’s foundational systems (e.g., needs and continence, exploration, and interactions) feel polished and engaging. It will be time to tie everything together and write all the NPCs reactions, add events...
As every summer, since everyone need some break, we might pause playtest sessions for a few weeks before resuming in september.
District Level Development
The goal is to have Dreamwalker’s first city district fully playable by the end of the quarter. If development hits a natural breakpoint, I’ll aim to release an intermediate build exclusively for subscribers to enjoy a sneak peek.
Q4: Public Demo and Beyond
Public Demo Release
By the end of 2025, the goal is to have Dreamwalker’s first public demo ready for subscribers. This release will include the first city district and the first dream level, offering both the sandbox aspect of the day city, and the platformer aspect of the dream level, thus completing an overview of the whole gameplay loop planned.
If you’ve followed me since the beginning, you might remember the first demo of The Pacifier Project and how quickly it was iterated upon. In hindsight, it was more of a tech demo than a proper introduction to the game. By comparison, Dreamwalker’s progress might feel slow at times and I can understand how that could be frustrating. Honestly, I feel it too sometimes. I also can’t wait to push further and see the game take the shape I envision.
That said, I know this slower, more deliberate approach is the better way. It’s about avoiding the pitfalls of endless glitches or unfinished content and ensuring the first public demo feels like a complete and enjoyable ABDL experience. The goal is to create something polished, genuinely fun, and engaging, something that leaves a strong impression and sets the tone for everything that comes after.
Again, I would like to thank you all for your constant support during this year. And with that all said, let’s make 2025 another incredible year together!
