[Devlog] Current WIP 13


Hey everyone,


I want to thank you all who reported bugs, issues and more generaly shared their thoughs regarding the last update. Every feedback is welcome as it help me improve the game and make it enjoyable for everyone.

So, what's next? This month, I holded a poll on patreon to help me decide is I should take a few step back, polish what's alredy in game, or to push new content as much as I could. And the results were heavily weighted in favor of polishing the game and improving what's already in. 

I decided to focus on few main goals that I was delaying and offputting, who will significantly improve the play experience of most of you. Here's all I'm working in :

- A save slot system so you can have multiple saves.

- An improvement of the food system to make it more relevant and improve the core gameplay loop

- An overhaul of the dialog tree so the NPC can account for far more situation

- Last but not least, make the long awaited boy character playable.


This last one was the most complicated thing to do : I had to redo all the equipement, animation for the boy mesh, then make a pass on all systems to make sure the integration was seamless. But in the end, here it is !

Well worth the one week I spend on it ! I jumped on the occasion to correct various bugs to the character creation system, like the hairs and color not savable. 

Now, I'm working on all the others improvements. I'll talk about it later, the dialog overhaul is a pretty big thing too. I will probably be done with all of theses changes next week, and jump back to creating new content !
