[Devlog] Current WIP 19


Hey everyone,


This week, I want to give you focus on how I improved tons of NPC lately.

I began to draft my roadmap to improve them and give them more meaning. A lot of NPC will be flagged as ABDL,will get named and be involved in a big side quest that I think you'll like. And of course, I'm giving them a lot of dialogs. To give you a bit of perspective, there's now about 14000 lines of dialogs in the game, up from about...3000 in the update 4.


I also began to experiment with a workflow that allow me to make relevant NPC remember you. Some will remember that you wore a diaper, while some will comment about an accident if they never saw you with wet pants. Of course, for now this is pretty limited to a few keys NPC, and I doubt I'll ever have the time to make all NPC behave like that, but I think this is important at least for the key ones.



I also began to experiment on a test build on a few random event that I'd like to implement to make the city even more lively, like an NPC having an accident, and another one coming to confort him... some things like that. This "NPC Behaviour" will also be used at key story point so it's a big thing.

So, all of theses things are small but they'll help bring more life to the game.

Next time, I'll focus on the nex area that have been created lately : The lab.
