[Devlog] Current WIP 36
Heya everyone,
Today, I want to highlight the achievement system I've been building.
This may sound a little trivial and not really an high-priority thing to do, but I think it bring a sense of polish to the game, while also allowing me to create custom challenges and side content at a relatively low cost.
The achievements will be categorized into five types.
The Story and Side stories will of course be relevant to quest content and be fairly linear, eventhough the side stories category will probably be hiding some easter eggs. Then, the Childish and Adult categories will be based on your maturity level and your playstyle. The childish one will reward engaging in ABDL content, while the Adult one will reward keeping you pants dry and take care of littles ones. I believe that these categories will allow players to customize their gameplay experience and choose their preferred level of maturity.
In addition to these categories, I am also planning to include Challenge achievements. These challenges will reward unexpected playstyles or unintended things that players might discover while playing the game. I believe that this will add an extra layer of excitement to the game and encourage players to experiment with different approaches.
At the moment, I have created a base layer of achievements, but I plan to add many more in the future. I've streamlined it so it's very easy to add news ones. I am especially interested in creating challenge achievements that will reward players for unexpected playstyles or hidden easter eggs that I have or will put into the game.
One of the main benefits of implementing an achievement system is that it rewards players for going above and beyond the basic gameplay experience. By encouraging players to try new playstyles, explore hidden areas of the game, or find Easter eggs, achievements provide an added incentive to engage with the game in new and interesting ways. This can lead to a more enriching gameplay experience and can even lead to players discovering hidden content that they may have otherwise missed.
This isn't tied to progression, rewards or something like that. It just provide a "create-your-own-reward" experience that I think is kinda fun for quite a low-cost of dev time.
I understand that some players might not be interested in achievements, and that's okay. The achievement system will be entirely optional, and players can choose to ignore it if they wish. However, I believe that it will provide an extra layer of engagement and satisfaction for those who choose to pursue it.
That's it for today ! See ya next time !

Niiiiiice, I can't wait to see the new update, Especially since I am waiting for it to drop before I play the game again, After all, with the Hospital glitch ruining the Framerates, It'd be impossible for me to continue the story as is.
I can understand, this was something that troubled me for many weeks. It's mostly okay now. I hope you'll be able to enjoy the game.
I mean- I can't access the Patreon Version yet, hence why I am waiting for the Free Update to drop.
